Home Meetings
And day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house, they partook of their food with exultation and simplicity of heart. (Acts 2:46)
…they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. (Acts 17:11b)
Prayer Meeting
Due to the current pandemic, the prayer meetings are generally held via Zoom, sometimes by districts (groups of individuals or households in particular areas) or with all the members together at one time. Of course, prayer by smaller numbers — 2’s, 3’s or more — in homes face-to-face does take place regularly and is encouraged.
Service Groups
All the brothers and sisters are encouraged and helped to serve the Body of Christ in various ways, be it painting a new curb, serving the Lord’s Table (communion), taking care of book sales, developing the church website, distributing Bibles and Christian literature, visiting saints in need, serving with the children, young people, or college students, etc.
…each one has…. Let all things be done for building up. (1 Corinthians 14:6b)
…And she instantly rose up and served them. (Luke 4:39)
I exhort you therefore, brothers, through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)
And having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, whether…service, let us be faithful in that service... (Romans 12:6a-7a)
Not with eye-service as men-pleasers but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the soul. (Ephesians 6:6)
Men’s Bible Studies
& Prayer Groups
Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Women’s Fellowship & Bible Study
Though presently meeting via Zoom due to the pandemic, sisters also have always loved to meet face-to-face for more intimate, joyous and spontaneous fellowship in Christ and diving into the Word of God.
